B6 Real Estate Advisors has been retained to sell 760 DeKalb Ave. in Brooklyn’s Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood, a 42,500-square-foot former school with a $16.5-million asking price. The sale assignment is being handled by B6’s DJ Johnston, William Cheng, Michael Murphy and Ben Rechler.
Located on the southwest corner of Dekalb and Tompkins avenues, the building is 150’ x 62’ across five stories. A portion of the first floor has double height ceilings, making it suited for an auditorium, small gym or common area.
B6 says the building can be sub-divided, which would allow for a roughly 9,000-square-foot office that could operate separately from the larger commercial space. In addition to being used as a school, alternative uses include medical facility, non-profit administration, commercial offices, co-working and student dormitory.
Multiple transportation options are available near the property, including a nearby G subway stop and two bus lines.
